Specialist Coated & Laminated Papers

An area that Stratex has a large amount of expertise, coated papers for medical, food and industrial applications have been a cornerstone of the companies business since its inception. A large variety of papers are processed including, bleached kraft’s, brown kraft’s, linerboards, cartonboards, recycled lightweights, claycoated kraft’s, and medical papers.

Stratex is a leader in packaging for the newsprint, ream, and folio markets. In house laminating, die cutting and printing technology enables Stratex to be an international leader in this area.

A variety of coatings and polymers are used for coating and laminating including, LDPE, HDPE, PP, Ionomers, Acid Co-polymers, and Mettalocenes.

Applications for such products are extremely varied and include: medical, metal protection, paper packaging, tubes, folding cartons and corrugated boxes.
