Comprehensive knowledge of Papers and polymers, together with the use of using state-of-the-art extrusion coating technology has enabled Stratex to offer a number of solutions for packing products on automatic packing lines. Stratex has designed a range of Easy peel closures for the Australasian market. Developed with local moulders and processors, Stratex peelable closures are made using state of the art technology and will seal to a full range of bottles and pottles, both liquid and dry applications.

Stratex has been manufacturing and supplying Insulation and Building products for over a decade. Stratex’s technology allows it to offer numerous unique solutions to overcome Thermal and Gas barriers issues.
Stratex Heatshield range of products are specifically designed to exceed British Standards (BS) safety requirements for Insulation materials. Typically a composite of reinforced polymers, foil, and paper, the Heatshield range is exceptionally strong and has excellent thermal insulation properties.
The range of products is also well suited to the manufacture of Air-conditioning ducts and sleeves. Protection dust and odours is also able to be achieved.
Stratex product development team often works with customers to design products for specific applications in the Building industry. This service allows Stratex to ensure its customers final product has been designed to ensure lowest cost and highest performance criteria can be met.
An innovation to our lightweight extrusion line means we can coat some sealable polymers (e.g. Acid Copolymers and LDPEs) onto thin foils. In fact we’ve successfully coated a seven micron aluminum foil with 20 microns of LDPE – and we could go even lower!
Extrusion laminated films are proven to have better seal integrity to form fill and seal packs (FFS) over adhesive laminations. Our process laminates two or more substrates together using odour-less, solvent-free, non-toxic polythene-based polymers.
During the heat-sealing process, the polymer tie layer softens, allowing the pack to take a new shape. The seal areas also form good hermetic seals. The polythene-based copolymer tie layer adds bulk to the packs, reinforcing the moisture barrier and providing the structure with more whiteness.
We’ve upgraded our technology to enable us to print in reverse onto PET or BOPP films. These can either be coated with a high performance sealable polymer or laminated to a foil or film.
